The day of Eid:

Hello everyone !!

Hope you are doing well. Today I wanted to share with you what I did during the Eid day. I know it’s a late post but I wanted to take my time and work on it. In this post, I share with you some tips and advice on how to prepare for Eid (for next year 🙂 ). However, the main reason why I decided to make this post is to show you what we can do with little things, how we can enjoy the moment with simple movements and thoughts. Be creative, try new things even if it’s different from your culture, have fun. This is not just for Eid but for any kind of party/special days. I am a lazy person, but sometimes I try to push myself to do some sort of activities in these kind of occasions in order to fully enjoy it. So, motivate yourself and invite your friends and siblings to help you.

Now I didn’t do a lot of things but I tried to bring together pieces in my house that remind me of this special occasion and put them in one room to make it look festive. I chose the balcony since the weather was nice, I put my little table and place everything on it. The first step is food. I collected some sweets, the one I used are actually dry fruits, you can use whatever you have in your kitchen. I can suggest some almonds, nuts, pistachios, dates and chocolat…Also, think about drinks for example make tea or just any kind of juice.

Next, you can add some decoration to spice up the place. I used some traditional decor,a printed paper to add some colours and put my traditional hat that I bought from Turkey. All these little pieces change the entire place (and of course this mean a cute instagram picture 🙂 oupoup).

And to finish up, I decided to make Henna to my little sisters. I found this super easy design on the internet that I recreate with this Henna tube that you can find everywhere. It does not have to be perfect, just try simple designs and have fun with it. I sprinkled some glitter on it for a cute touch.

That’s it. It’s not that much but it’s all about having fun with your family and friends. I really hope that this was helpful for you or just gave you some motivation for upcoming occasions.

Enjoy.
