This Time Next Year Tag

Hello friends,

How are you doing?

I am back today with a fun post; the first time on my blog: a TAG.

I was tagged by the lovely Nira to do the “This time Next Year” Tag so thank you so much sweetie for the TAG. I love your blog and enjoy reading your posts. Check out her blog here.

When I first read about the Tag and what was it about, I had a moment of silent and deep thinking. I am not good at setting goals, so it was hard for me to think about those kind of questions. But at the same time, I thought why not take this Tag as an opportunity to set 2017’s goals (even though we are half way through it). After a long and creative imagination here are my  goals…

This time next year:

I will have read more books: I always find excuses to avoid reading. Maybe because I feel like it’s a commitment and I already know that I won’t be able to stick to it. I think the first step to achieve this goal is to buy books, and have a mini collection of let’s say five books and have them everywhere in my room; one on my desk, one my bed side table…

This time next year:

I will have been more optimistic: University will start again soon, and with that start stress and too much things to do. Usually when I am overwhelmed with work and all that uni drama… 😉  ,I tend to get anxious and can’t control my negative thoughts. So when I face a problem, I immediately jump into conclusions. I will achieve that by seeing the good sides of life and maybe spend more time thinking before acting.

This time next year:

I will have learned a new language: I love Spanish, so I would love to at least understand it and hopefully speak it fluently afterword. Maybe get help from YouTube videos and eventually buy some books about basic spanish.

This time next year:

I will have written more on my journal: I have a journal where I write when I feel the need to talk/express my thoughts and opinions about something, but it rarely happens. I will try to write more about my days, even the stupidest thing.

This time next year:

I will have eaten clean: I am not talking about being “healthy” and eating only salads. I am talking about eating fresh food, the food we make ourselves. I want to cook more, to add the spices I like, to make crazy dishes with all the fruits and vegetables. Not only it’s fun and tasty but also clean since you know what you put in it.

This time next year:

I will have improved my communication skills: I am not the kind of person who would start the conversation. I prefer to stay quite and wait for the other person to make the first step. I am always working on this, and blogging is helping me a lot.

This time next year:

I will have cared less about the future: Focus on the present time, enjoy every single moment and stop thinking about tomorrow. Remembering that life is short and that time is fast enough will definitely help me achieve this goal.

This time next year:

I will have reduced procrastination: I am a procrastinator; unfortunately. It won’t stop (I know that for a fact hahah), but at least reduce it. The best way to achieve it, and it works for me, is to: for example not touch my phone/laptop until I am done with my assignment ~~ The best one is: Not eat my favourite chocolate bar until I am done with my homework.      🙂

This time next year:

I will have done an internship: It’s important for my career so the more I do the more I learn and improve professionally and also personally.

This time next year:

I will have become an early bird: Comment “I am an early bird” if you are, because sadly I am not. How do you do it? I can’t wake early if I don’t have a reason  (please tell me I am not the only one). I hope, this year, I will be able to change my sleeping habits and wake up early and enjoy the morning. Oh and… I don’t know how yet…

Now let’s jump right into…

  1. Ahh, it’s always great to set goals 😉 Next year is a whole year away, though! (obviously haha) My friendly advice would be to plan out a specific timeline of when you’d like to achieve what (if you haven’t already) so you can keep track of your growth process 😀 And of course, it’d definitely help with procrastination! All the best ❤
