Homemade Puppy Shaped Biscuits

Hello friends!

I hope you are all doing well !

Dogs are my absolute favourite animals 🐶. I am literally one of those people who watch Youtube videos of puppies for hours and don’t even get bored. When I came across this easy puppy shaped biscuits recipe on Youtube, I couldn’t resist trying it. Not only they look super cute, but they also taste delicious. So I am very excited to share with you this 4 ingredients recipe, that you can quickly bake on a Sunday morning.  Biscuits that you will enjoy eating while sipping a cup of tea or a hot chocolate☕; the best combination for these cold days ❄.

Ingredients:

250g of butter.

1 ts of cacao.

150g of Icing sugar.

350g of flour.

Method:

1- Hand mix the butter, sugar and a pinch of salt until you get a creamy texture.

2- Add the flour (I suggest that you sift it) little by little to make it easier to blend and mix it very well. You might need more floor depending on the type of butter you used. You should get a shortbread dough. Leave 1 ts of floor that you will add later on.

3- After getting the shortbread dough, separate it into two equal parts. In one part add your 1 ts of cacao, and in the other part add your 1 ts of floor.

4- Put a piece of plastic (plastic special for food) underneath and on top of the dough, so that it doesn’t stick everywhere.

5- Roll it out to about 7mm. Create your heart-shaped biscuits.

6- Arrange them on greased baking sheets, spacing the biscuits so we can add the ears and also so that they have enough room to spread a little as they cook. The hearts should be placed upside down.

7- Create the heart biscuits for the chocolate dough.

At this point preheat the oven to 180C/gas 4/fan 160˚C

8- Cut each heart in half….

…And place it as shown in the picture.

Make sure you stick the pieces very well so that they don’t break. Some of my biscuits broke after cooking because I didn’t stick them hard enough.

9- Use the remaining chocolate dough to create the eyes and the noises ( the cutest thing ever 😍).

10- Finally put them in the oven. Don’t leave the kitchen because it cooks pretty fast. 😅

Look at those burned cheeks 😂. They look shy !

      1. Hey Maya 🙂 My pleasure!
BTW, do you have a email? Or does your blog have a contact form? I tried to find it but was unable to find it. I wouldl like to contact you about my youtube channel. Not sure if it is appropriate to talk about it here. Thank you, Doni

      2. Hey Maya, you know I asked you earlier about a video suggestion for my youtube channel? I recently thought of deserting my youtube channel because it seems impractical to maintain due to many personal reasons which will take a fair bit of time to explain. Making videos is not practical for me and I am still thinking about it, whether I should remove my youtube channel or not. But despite this, I do want to do your suggestion on my blog on to-do lists. I will do that on my blog but not sure about my youtube channel yet. I am so sorry for breaking a promise, I was intending to desert my youtube channel, personal circumstances got in the way. Your understanding would be appreciated, x Doni
