DIY No-Sew Pillow

Aloha Friends!

I hope you are all doing well.

I was on Pinterest the other day (as always), and I came across some diys for summer decoration. A no-sew pillow diy popped. It was so intriguing to me that I couldn’t but try it myself and see how it will turn out. I mean, we can never have too many pillows!Β πŸ˜‚Β  So if there is a way to make them that requires no sewing skills, I am for it.

This was also the perfect time to spice up my room and give it some summery vibes. Personally, I don’t like to have very bright colors in my room, especially because I get bored so easily. But I can say that having two or three colorful items in your room does make a difference and gives it a new spark. This Diy is very affordable and you can personalize it the way you want and be very creative with it. The method I am showing you is the simplest one. Of course you can go as extra as you like.

If you are ready, let’s go ahead and get started.

You will need:

  • Fabric of your choice.
  • Some stuffing.
  • Scissors.
  • Pencil and a ruler.

Tip: You can use the same method to cover an old pillow.

1- Cut the fabric into the shape you want your pillow to look like. Don’t forget to double your layer of fabric in order to get a front and back.

2- In each of the 4 corners, cut a square. They don’t have to be exactly the same size; so don’t worry about it.

3- Cut strips all the way around. To make it look neat, use the corners of your squares to measure the length of your strips

4- By starting at the corner, tie tight knots all the way around.

5- Before closing the last part, insert your stuffing.

For decoration:

To make these pillows extra cute, I glued in some stars shaped jems on the blue pillow and made some pompoms for the white one, using bright colors to add a little pop of color to my room. Also, I tried to make different sizes and shapes so that it looks more fun.

I really hope you enjoyed this post.
